Brian创作了一部戏剧 A Passing Fancy 消逝的爱人，得到了圆蛤镇的热烈欢迎，然而Stewie很看不起这部剧，并用一个晚上的时间就创作了一部受到百老汇高度欢迎的戏剧 An American Marriage美国婚姻，激起了Brian的妒心。

之后又故意给Brian机会，让其偷走唯一的剧本，当面揭露其行为后，羞辱他的剧本实际上就是坨垃圾。

Stewie：

You tried to destroy it,didn’t you?

你想毁了它 对吗

I knew my play was good.

我知道我的剧本很好

Just like I knew your play was a mediocre patchwork of hackneyed ideas and tired clichés

You have no idea how hard it was to sit in that theater with all those braying hyenas.

Couldn’t you tell something was up when Chris and the fat man could follow the plot?

你看到克里斯和那个胖男人都能跟得上剧情难道就没明白点什么吗？

I mean,it took Peter a year to figure out Stuart Little.

皮特花了一年时间才看懂《精灵鼠小弟》

Brian：

It’s still a good play !

但还是部好剧！

Stewie：

It’s filled with terrible double entendres, puns and stolen bits.

里面满是糟糕的双关语 谐音梗还有偷来的梗

There’s a line in there from Seinfeld !

里面还有《宋飞传》(美剧)的台词 ！

Brian：

I never saw that episode !

我从没看过那集！

Stewie：

I have a voice. Do you understand that ?

我想要表达思想你明白吗？

A writer needs a voice, and I have one. You don’t.

作家都想要表达思想，我也想，但你没有思想

Your play panders to the lowest common denominator,Brian.

布莱恩 你的戏剧就是为了迎合大众

And it doesn’t even do that well

但连迎合都没做好

Brian：

Shut up !

闭嘴！

Stewie：

May every person that laughs at your sophomoric effort be a reminder of your eternal mediocrity and pierce your heart like a knife.
